Water Testing Service

Trust us to ensure the water your drink is safe.  Put our experience of over 30 years, and hundreds of successful water tests completed to work for you.  We offer a complete water testing service.  Bacterial testing is the most common and essential. However, we provide testing for many additional contaminants. In most cases, we rely on the precise testing, quick turn-around, and friendly service of Endyne Labs.

There are no State regulations in Vermont requiring the testing of existing wells servicing single-family homes.  Consequently, the water quality in a private well is almost always unknown. Tests are especially important for homes in rural areas where on-site septic systems operate, or significant agricultural land use occurs near water supplies.

Many banks and mortgage institutions require a potable water test for homes serviced by private wells. In most instances, a Coliform Bacteria test meets their requirements. FHA/VA loans generally require nitrate, nitrite, and lead testing. We recommend testing as early as possible before the closing process. Some testing, such as lead testing, can take two weeks or more to complete, and if the results for Total Coliform/E.coli are PRESENT, you may need to disinfect your well and re-test.
